Published: 18th December 2024 Employees can expect their employers to take reasonable steps to protect them from sexual harassment as a new duty comes into force. If sexual harassment has taken place, an employer should take action to stop it from happening again. This sends a clear signal to all employers that they must take reasonable preventative steps against sexual harassment, encourage cultural change where necessary, and reduce the likelihood of sexual harassment occurring. Employers may want to consider appointing a designated lead to take responsibility for implementation of the action plan and compliance with the preventative duty. Our train the leader course enables the delegate(s) to deliver Sexual Harassment awareness training to all workers, which could form part of INSET Days to ensure compliance for worker awareness under the new legislation. Our two-hour online training will cover:
- Completing a Sexual Harassment risk assessment - Incident reporting - Preventative / remedial measures
Upon completion of the course each delegate will receive:
