As the 2024/25 Academic Year has now begun, there are proposed changes and updated guidance from the DfE affecting how schools should conduct Appraisals. Due to popular demand and our 30 September 2024 webinar being fully booked, PACT HR have added this additional date to its bitesize refresher training session on Appraisals to help you navigate around the appraisal process in schools.
Description
Our one-hour training session will be delivered live via MS Teams to allow a platform for professional networking and interaction with the PACT HRBPs.
The training session will cover:
- Up to date DfE Guidance on conducting appraisals in schools
- Appointing an appropriate appraiser
- How to lead and participate in an appraisal process
- The annual Appraisal cycle
- Setting individual objectives
- Performance difficulties during the appraisal cycle
- Transition to capability
- The proposed removal of Teachers’ PRP and the impact this has on appraisals
