Published: 13th April 2026 PACT HR Policy LaunchWe are today launching the following updated policies arising from the Employment Rights Bill Roadmap that came into effect in April 2026:
In April 2024 PACT HR launched Phase One of its HR Policy Review capturing Employment Law changes which became effective from 1 April 2024 with five updated policies for Attendance Management, Flexible Working, Performance Capability, Appraisals and Recruitment & Selection. Phase Two in September 2024 saw the release of three more policies, Disciplinary, Grievance and Work & Families. Phase 3 in November 2024 brought two further updated policies, Appraisal and Pay 2024. In January 2025 we released a new Sexual Harassment Policy and framework which was further complemented in May 2025 as we released a new Preventing Bullying and Harassment Policy. In November 2025 Phase 4 of our Policy Reviews launched our Disciplinary Policy v10, Pay Policy v1 2025 and Whistleblowing Policy v2. We also launched our new Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy in February 2026. The PACT HR Pay Policy has also been updated to reflect the new pay bands with the removal of NJC SCP 2
Our SLA Advisory clients can access all the new policies and associated letters, templates and guidance documents via our PACT HR SLA Information Hub. You will need to log into the portal to view these; along with an updated version of PACT HR’s Advisory SLA Client HR Policy Control Tracker so you can implement the policy and framework across your School, Academy or Trust. Due to the new Employment Rights Bill taking precedence on our policy updates, our phase 5 Policy Review is now scheduled for release later in the year and will include the following policies:
